Meet Baylee! We had a quick (and fussy) shoot a few weeks ago. Of course, as soon as it was time to hike back to the car she was all cozy and cuddly in my arms – just happy as can be. In those moments I feel like I need an extra arm or two. During the shoot, my friend (her uncle) & I stood over her and made every weird noise imaginable…he shook his keys over her…I shimmied around like a nutcase…several people passed behind us and I can only imagine their thoughts about what we were putting this poor baby through. But…those EYES!
Lauren and Ira…the epitome of a couple that just clicks. Their personalities mesh so well and they are two people who truly embrace life and live it well. I love joining them for game nights (Quelf and wine at their house is one of my favorite things), sporting events and anything outdoors. I shot their engagement photos over two days since our first attempt at a shoot was 1) freezing, 2) slightly difficult due to their sweet but distracted pups Ryder and Cameron, and 3) the rainstorm that cut in towards the end. They were recently married at Zona in Scottsdale, and I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of their entire engagement and a friend to Lauren for almost 20 years. Love you guys!
Recently I had the opportunity to shoot my first boudoir shoot – I’m in love! One of my oldest friends was getting ready to marry her man and wanted to give him a little surprise on the morning of their wedding day, so we put together a book of some of the shots from our bedroom boudoir session. I wish I could share more – she looked so gorgeous (and yes, those are her real eyelashes). If you’re interested in a boudoir or beauty shoot, shoot me an email…it really is a beautiful thing.
It’s spring! I thought I’d give you a little peak into a pretty spring bridal shower I shot about this time last year. I know…reaching into the archives here, but I can’t not share how beautiful Nastassia is. She and her fiance eloped in Paris after this – amazing!
(side note: this was all shot on my old Nikon D60!)
